For all women and birthing people,
for all different types of
labors and births.

Doula Support and Care
Every women and birthing person has a unique story. There's only one you, and your labor and birth story are individual to you, your body, and your baby.
My goal as your Doula is to inform, support, and empower you; so you can feel confident and safe making decisions about your birth journey. Doula support ranges from emotional and physical support, pain relief and pain management strategies and tools, education and advocacy skill building, a silent companion, or a cheerleader.
Providing a calm, judgement free, evidence based space for education and advocacy allows me to help you best achieve your birthing wishes. A doula is an addition to your care team, we work along side your providers to help make your birth as positive and safe as possible, while providing you the tools to advocate for yourself when needed.
Services
I offer a variety of support centered services, including prenatal consultations to help you envision what your wishes, expectations, and goals are for your birth and postpartum recovery process.
We will line out what support looks like to best help you, what makes you feel safe, and cover any questions you may have about the labor and birth process, as well as what all your different options are when it comes to your labor. I want you to feel informed and empowered to make your own decisions, and to advocate for yourself confidently. We will also cover postpartum recovery support, and breastfeeding resources.
Having a baby is a lot of work, and we will also work with your partner or family support person to involve them in your labor and birth process, so you feel safe and supported, with everyone on your birth team informed on your needs.
I'll be with you every step of the way, this is your birth journey, your story, but you don't have to do it alone.
Why should everyone have access to a Doula on their care team?

Doula work is important to mom and baby in several different ways, the most important being the statistically backed evidence showing that having a Doula on your care team can lower the risk of interventions and improve your mental well-being during labor and birth.
Doula's provide both physical and emotional support that can be a huge game changer in your labor and pain management. The term at one point was believed to mean a 'mother to mothers'.
Having a Doula on your care team can be empowering, and bring a less stressful and more educated feeling of confidence in your decisions in labor and birth.
I'm very passionate about Doula work, and the benefits this work brings are really quite incredible and hold so much potential for a positive birthing experience.

I prepared and educated myself for my second birth, which was dramatically different and incredibly empowering. At that moment, I knew I wanted to help others have powerful and positive experiences while avoiding negative ones. My first Doula baby arrived a after the birth of my youngest daughter, and since then, I have felt a calling to this work and developed a deep passion for my. I completed my CAPPA training in 2024 and am continuing my education to my skill set The statistics behind Doula-supported births speak for themselves, I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to add a Doula to their support team.
